After being fired from DC as Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot has a perfect role at Marvel as a powerful mutant.
DC is being completely revamped in cinema: James Gunn , who directed the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy at Marvel, became CEO of DC Studios, and is already putting its reboot into practice.
And the reboot means that neither Ben Affleck , Henry Cavill or Gal Gadot are any longer part of DC, with their heroes, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, scheduled to gain new actors soon.
Superman has already gained a new actor after the dismissal of Henry Caviil, in this case David Corenswet, who will star in the blue guy’s new film scheduled to hit theaters in July 2024.
And the dismissal of Gal Gadot, as well as Ezra Miller, was confirmed this week by Variety . But the actress, in previous interviews, declared that she is a fan of the hero genre in general, showing interest beyond the role of Wonder Woman.
And now without having a contract with DC, the actress can join the Marvel Universe, as it seems will happen with Henry Cavill in the near future. And in this case, there is already a perfect role for Gadot.
Marvel announced last month that it is officially developing an X-Men reboot, and Gal seems to be a perfect fit for the role of one of its most important mutants: Mystique .
