Dua Lipa ‘mounts a bucking HORSE for her new music video’ – after her success at the 2021 BRITs

She scooped the accolade for Female Solo Artist and the Mastercard British Album of the Year Award for her lockdown hit Future Nostalgia at the 2021 BRITs this week.

And Dua Lipa is said to already be planning her next music video which reportedly sees her mount a bucking horse while wearing an ‘incredible’ skimpy outfit.

It has also been claimed that the singer, 25, wears a ‘neon-lit’ ensemble and is even ‘suspended from the air’ in acrobatic positions, although a stunt double was required for some parts during the shoot at London‘s Grosvenor House hotel last week.

A source told The Sun: ‘Dua is still enjoying the success of her latest album Future Nostalgia and was thrilled it won a Brit award, but she doesn’t want to put her feet up and take it all for granted.

‘There is already new music in the pipeline and the video for this looks incredible. It was a massive production with loads of crew, stunts and staging — including a horse.

‘When you turn up with that sort of kit it causes a stir — and the results look sensational. She’s going from strength to strength.’

MailOnline has contacted Dua’s representative for comment.

Dua made waves at the 2021 BRIT Awards on Tuesday as she ran through a medley of some of her biggest hits at the ceremony, held at London’s O2.

The songstress wore an eye-catching ensemble that included a Union Jack-print wrap skirt which hearkened back to Geri Horner’s patriotic minidress, which she wore as she performed at the same awards show some 24 years ago, back in 1997.

Viewing figures for the BRIT Awards plummeted for the fourth year in a row, with 2.9 million tuning in – 860,000 less than last year.

The show was finally broadcast following three months of delays, and had an audience share of 18%, down from 20.5% in 2020.

Viewers watching the show at home took to social media to say the BRITs had become ‘more about music than politics’, following Dua’s call for Boris Johnson to give NHS staff a bigger pay rise.

During the ceremony Dua had taken aim at the Prime Minister after the Conservative Party revealed plans for a 1% pay rise for NHS workers who have been working on the frontline throughout the pandemic.

As she accepted her Best Female Solo artist gong, which she dedicated to nurse Dame Elizabeth Anionwu, Dua said: ‘[Dame Elizabeth] has spent her stellar nursing career fighting racial injustice.

‘She has spent so much time and is a strong advocate for protecting frontline workers, thank you.

‘She has also said that there is a massive disparity between love and respect for frontline workers, because we need to clap them but we need to pay them.

‘So I think what we should do is give a massive round of applause and give Boris a message that we all support a pay rise for our frontline.’

The awards ceremony truly belonged to Dua as the evening saw her scoop the accolade for Female Solo Artist and the Mastercard British Album of the Year Award for her lockdown hit Future Nostalgia.
